Dr. Sofia Nahavandi is a general paediatrician who cares for children with a wide variety of medical, behavioural and developmental issues, from the neonatal period through to adolescence. Sofia has a caring and holistic approach, working collaboratively with children and their families to support their individual needs and help them thrive.

Sofia completed a Doctor of Medicine degree at The University of Melbourne. She subsequently undertook paediatric training in Victoria, gaining broad experience across a range of clinical settings, including at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Western Health.

Sofia is also passionate about healthcare quality and safety and has a strong commitment to delivering safe, effective, and high-quality care. She is actively involved in quality improvement, with a keen interest in contributing to the ongoing improvement of healthcare delivery.
