Dr. Lloyd Bwanaisa is a specialist paediatrician with a passion for behavioural and developmental paediatrics, encompassing ADHD and Autism diagnosis and management. He has amassed extensive professional experience working across three continents — Africa, Europe, and Australia.
Dr. Bwanaisa is an alumnus of the University College London and Middlesex School of Medicine. He holds fellowships with both the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in London, reflecting the breadth and depth of his training and expertise.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Bwanaisa serves as an examiner with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, contributing to the training and assessment of the next generation of paediatricians. He also holds a Masters degree in Diabetes, bringing specialist knowledge to the management of children with diabetes, including those on insulin pump therapy.
Dr. Bwanaisa has previously held leadership positions as Head of Paediatric Departments in both Queensland and Victorian public hospitals, demonstrating his expertise in health system design and clinical leadership alongside his patient-centred care.
